About the Event
Diné (Navajo) Reservation, New Mexico (July 8 – 14) Leaders: Marlene Thomas & Erik Dennison, David Radcliff Cost: $375 (student: $200) Experience the beauty of and challenges facing the land and people on the Diné reservation. Help with work projects in this native community northwest of Albuquerque; learn about the history of the Diné; explore current social issues, spiritual practices and the impacts of fracking; meet with and learn from a medicine woman; hike in scenic areas nearby and visit Chaco Culture NHP.
