Experience the beauty of and challenges facing the land and people on the Diné reservation. Help with work projects in this native community northwest of Albuquerque; join with youth and elders to learn handcraft skills; hear about the history of the Diné, including boarding schools and The Long Walk. Explore current social issues, spiritual practices and the impacts of fracking; see local artists at work; visit nearby Chaco Culture NHP; attend a powwow.
